Cell Phone companies such as Nokia and LG Cell Phones have really changed our lives. Mobile phones are more than just a communications device with PDA functionality. They’re a fashion statement, aimed squarely at the young consumer. Some companies concentrate more on the fashion and look of their phones for example LG cell phones are well known for their looks and unique designs. Cell phones are very popular, and they have become affordable for almost anyone. They are all over the place. Everywhere you go, you see and hear people taking calls and engaged in conversations with people in other places. Cell phones are important because they let us keep in touch with our families when we are away from the house, and can be used almost anywhere to make 9-1-1 calls in case of an emergency. Some have games you can play; some let you send email or send instant messages to your friends; and some let you take pictures and send them to people.

Cell phones are now doing what PDAs used to do, and people are not using PDAs so much anymore. Or perhaps it should be said that the two are merging together into some sort of hybrid. Using cell phones while driving is extremely risky. While doing so we not only put ourselves at risk but also everyone around us. According to a recent study, when someone talks on a cell phone while driving, they have the same attention to the road as a person would with a .08 blood-alcohol level. Police don’t allow people to drive drunk, similarly they should not allow people to drive while talking on their cell phones. To overcome this problem cell phone companies such as LG cell phones are now giving free Bluetooth headsets with all of their models.
